DEADPOOL: Jonathan Rothbart – Production VFX Supervisor

Jonathan Rothbart began his career in VFX at Industrial Light & Magic in 1995. He worked on films like DRAGONHEART, MEN IN BLACK or STAR WARS: EPISODE I - THE PHANTOM MENACE. In 2000, he created the studio The Orphanage with Scott Stewart and Stu Maschwitz. He will oversee the effects of many films like HERO, HELLBOY, SIN CITY or IRON MAN. In 2010, The Orphanage is closed and Jonathan becomes production side VFX Supervisor and take care of the effects of LEGION, PRIEST and AFTER EARTH.

SPECTRE: Mark Curtis – VFX Supervisor – MPC

Mark Curtis started his career in the visual effects in 2001 at MPC. He worked on many projects and then joined MPC Vancouver in 2009. He has worked on films like WATCHMEN, LIFE OF PI or GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. As VFX Supervisor, he took care of the effects of films like FIFTY SHADES OF GREY and FURIOUS 7.

Neil Weatherley joined Framestore in 2001, he began as assistant technical director and became CG supervisor in 2014 on EDGE OF TOMORROW and PADDINGTON. He worked on many projects such as CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, CHILDREN OF MEN, THE GOLDEN COMPASS or THE DARK KNIGHT.

THE WALK: Kevin Baillie – Overall VFX Supervisor – Atomic Fiction

During his last visit, Kevin Baillie talked about the work of Atomic Fiction on STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS. He then worked on NEED FOR SPEED and TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION. He then takes of the effects supervision of the new film by Robert Zemeckis, THE WALK and opens at this occasion an Atomic Fiction office in Montreal.

Kevin Smith began his career in the visual effects in 1993 at Boss Film. A few years later he joined Weta Digital to work on the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy. He worked on many projects such as AVATAR, RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN and THE HOBBIT trilogy.

Jake Morrison began his career in visual effects for feature film in the late 90s. He has worked on many projects, such as LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS, THE MATRIX RELOADED, 300 and IRON MAN 2. He has worked for Marvel Studios as additional VFX supervisor for THOR, 2nd Unit VFX supervisor for THE AVENGERS and Production VFX Supervisor for THOR 2: THE DARK WORLD.
