Rudi Holzapfel is back to science fiction (he had talked about his work on TOTAL RECALL) and to The Art of VFX. In the following interview, he talks about the challenge of creating the slow-motion effects on DREDD.

Jon Thum works in visual effects for over 20 years. He worked in London, Australia and the USA. He has participated in projects like DARK CITY, THE MATRIX, PITCH BLACK or TROY. He won an Oscar for Best Visual Effects for THE MATRIX.

Aleksandar Pejic has worked for many years at Double Negative and particularly on films such as BATMAN BEGINS, CHILDREN OF MEN, THE DARK KNIGHT or INCEPTION. He then joined Prime Focus and supervises the effects of TOTAL RECALL.

Olivier Cauwet is back on The Art of VFX. After explaining the challenges for SUR LA PISTE DU MARSUPILAMI, Olivier explains his work on the remake of TOTAL RECALL.

I take advantage of this special day, my birthday, to offer you the last part of my interview videos filmed during the conferences at Imaging the Future held last July in Neuchatel, Switzerland. I am pleased to have been able to interview one of the VFX masters in the person of Michael Fink, Senior VFX Supervisor with an impressive career that includes films such as BLADE RUNNER, BATMAN RETURNS, THE HUNT OF RED OCTOBER and more recently THE GOLDEN COMPASS, SUCKER PUNCH or AVATAR. He received the Best Visual Effect Academy Award for THE GOLDEN COMPASS.

Sean Farrow worked for over 10 years in VFX. He participated in many movie projects as BATMAN BEGINS, ANGELS & DEMONS, JANE EYRE or IRONCLAD and also on TV shows like BAND OF BROTHERS, ROME or MISFITS.
